FloridaBrazil.org is run by Elvis Arias, an ICEF-certified education consultant with more than a decade placing Latin American students at universities in the United States — over 1,200 students and 300 partner universities along the way.
We work on two models, always stated plainly: at partner universities, the university pays us and you pay nothing extra; at selective non-partner universities, the family hires the advisory directly. In both cases the numbers we publish are deliberately conservative — scholarships appear as ranges of what students have actually received, never as promises.

Because Florida is by far the US state with the strongest bridge to Brazil: direct flights from several capitals, a large Brazilian community, and universities that have recruited in Brazil for decades. Until 2026 the state ran a public programme, the Florida-Brazil Linkage Institute, that gave Brazilians in-state tuition at public universities; it was ended by law in July 2026, and we explain what changed on this page. What makes Florida the right choice today is each university's merit scholarships and the network of partner institutions — and that is where we focus our work.
